What does being SOC 2 compliant mean?
The SOC 2 (Service Organization Control 2) report validates the effectiveness of operating controls as a service organization against the criteria set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Services Principles. Level365 undergoes a third-party audit to certify our services against this standard. Additional information can be found here.
What is the timing of the SOC 2 audits?
SOC 2 reports cover controls around the availability, security, and confidentiality of customer data over a period of time. SOC 2 Type I audits examine controls at a single point. The SOC 2 Type II audit, which Level365 completes, oversees several months.
