The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) establishes strict standards for safeguarding Protected Health Information (PHI). Compliance requires comprehensive administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive health data. As part of this initiative, Hyperbound implemented enhanced access controls, strengthened encryption policies, formalized risk assessment procedures, expanded monitoring and audit logging, and reinforced vendor management practices. Our policies, infrastructure, and operational processes were reviewed to align with HIPAA Security and Privacy Rule requirements. Hyperbound is proud to announce that we are now ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified, one of the most internationally recognized standards for managing information security. ISO 27001 is a rigorous security framework developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to help organizations establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve an Information Security Management System (ISMS). It involves a comprehensive review of security controls across people, processes, and technology. Following a successful Stage 2 audit completed on May 30, 2025, our certification was formally registered on June 2, 2025. The certificate is valid through June 1, 2028, and is based on a robust Statement of Applicability dated March 17, 2025. You can access the certificate directly from our *Trust Center*. The SOC 2 audit is one the highest recognized standards of information security compliance in the world. It was developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) to allow a third-party auditor to validate a service company’s internal controls with respect to information security. Thanks to a company-wide effort here at Hyperbound, and with the help of our trusted partner Johanson Group, we successfully achieved SOC 2 Type 2 compliance and received an Auditor’s Report on February 11, 2025, which is accessible in our *Trust Center*. In fact, by partnering with Johanson Group, we can confidently say we go above and beyond the minimum requirements for SOC 2 by integrating our critical infrastructure to monitor compliance to the SOC 2 framework 24/7/354, not just during the audit window. We believe the relationship with our customers must be built on trust. The successful completion of our SOC 2 Report is one of many ways that we have planned to earn and retain that trust. SOC 2 is just one aspect of our growing security program.
