How does Orderful use my data?

You retain full ownership of all data you provide through our services ("Customer Data"). Orderful is granted a license to collect, use, store, transmit, and process your data solely to the extent necessary to deliver our services to you. Beyond service delivery, Orderful may collect and analyze data relating to your use of the platform to improve and enhance our services and to generate aggregated, non-identifiable statistics. This aggregate data will never identify any individual. Orderful maintains security measures — including data backup, security, and recovery protections — to safeguard your data. Our handling of personal data is further governed by our Data Processing Addendum (DPA), which takes precedence in the event of any conflict with our privacy policy.

Do you encrypt data?

At Orderful, we prioritize the security of your data above all else. We ensure that all data at rest is encrypted, safeguarding your EDI information with the utmost care. Our platform access is fortified by SSL-secured connections using modern secure algorithms, and we adhere to using TLS 1.2 and 1.3 protocols for data in transit (except in cases where a customer's legacy software necessitates using an older protocol for compatibility). All data is encrypted at rest, and incrementally backed up, with full encrypted backups created weekly.
