No. Fireworks AI does not use customer Content - including prompts, inputs, outputs, or other request/response Content submitted through our Services - to train, fine-tune, or improve any Fireworks foundation models. Fireworks AI follows a Zero Data Retention (ZDR) approach for inference workloads. Customer Content is processed in real time and is not stored in persistent systems. Responses API (Stateful Conversation Mode) The /v1/responses endpoint is designed to support stateful conversation management. To maintain compatibility with the OpenAI API specification, this endpoint may store conversation state on the server so that customers can reference previous messages without re-sending the full message history. Fireworks AI provides configuration options that allow customers to control this behavior, including options designed to support zero retention use cases. Fine-tuning / Training Services If a customer uses Fireworks AI’s fine-tuning or training services, any datasets uploaded for that purpose are used only to train the customer’s specified model and remain under the customer’s control. We do not use that Content to improve shared foundation models.
